They estimate me to be about two years old. My foster mom says I’m the perfect boy! I am searching for a home that will give me lots of attention and belly rubs. I love to play with other dogs and have not met a dog yet that I don’t love! I also get along well with cats but sometimes I get so excited and want to play when they don’t want to. I would love having other animal siblings to play with but would also do well as an only pet getting all of the attention from my new human(s). I absolutely love all people and love to give kisses! I will make sure everyone in the room knows I am here and will beg for attention until you pet me!
Walks are my favorite thing and I walk wonderfully on a leash! I have lots of energy, so exercise is a must for me. When I first arrived, I didn’t know what a toy was, but thanks to my foster dog brothers I am learning how to play and so far, the squeaky ball is my favorite! I am a very smart boy. I have an excellent recall, I know basic commands like “sit”, “come” and “shake”, and am working on learning some other new tricks! I am house trained and kennel trained but would really love a nice warm bed and human to sleep with at night. My foster mom says I’m a real cuddle bug when I’m tired and ready for bed. Tag’s adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter (scheduled 7/28 in CR), microchip, current vaccinations and preventatives plus a free basic obedience class at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, be altered and current on vaccinations and preventatives. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and a home visit.
