Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Welcome Basil to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 1-year-old 30-pound dog. We think he is a Husky/Whippet. He has the curly and bushy tail and the delicate features of the Whippet. He is potty trained, good on a leash, crate trained and likes to go on car rides. He is loved very much in his foster home by everyone but the 9 year old dog. He is very friendly to strangers. Other dogs and to kids. He currently plays with 4-year-old grand children in his foster home. He loves to play and can get almost any dog to play. He loves to go to dog parks and many dogs love him naturally. He is active and would be best in a fenced yard with another dog that loves to play or a family that is active and wants him to join them in fun outdoor activities. He is interested in the cat so his time is watched with the cat. He probably would be ok with another active dog to burn off his energy if he was with a cat. He is neutered and up on his vaccines and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states
