Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Caramel a 5 month old (DOB 5.26.22) Pomeranian/Poodle mix. If I may brag, I am completely adorable. I do have a flare for the dramatic at times, but seriously who doesn’t? With my good looks and theatrical instincts, I don’t know how I’m not a movie star already.
I’m pretty small and the world is big, so it makes me feel safe when you come down to my level. Also this allows me to give you a thousand little puppy kisses. And I am still very much a puppy, so I am learning about what is ok to investigate and play with (i.e. toys) and what is not (i.e. the humans shoes). This potty training thing is coming along, but is not yet perfect. It is still hard for me to hold it if the humans are gone for the day for work. I have started to fuss a little in my crate at night if I need to potty, which foster mom is happy about because she doesn’t have to clean up a mess. If I don’t need to potty at night, I sleep really well.
I need a bit of warm up time with new dog friends, but once comfortable I enjoy their company and will play with them. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure what I think them. I really don’t know about this leash thing and taking a walk yet. Let’s just say this is an area I need to work on still. I do enjoy being outside and since I don’t have this leash thing down, a fenced yard is ideal for me. I would do best in a house with a small dog and older kids due to my small stature. I will be ready for my new home the week of October 11th. I will be up to date on all my shots, on heartworm and flea preventative, spayed, and microchipped, Caramel’s adoption fee is $450.00 Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. If you're looking for a very sweet and lovable gal to join your family, please fill out an application on AAP’s website.
