My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benji is about one year old and loves to play, play, play. He is an excellent fetcher and will bring the ball back to you until he falls over from exhaustion, then he will nap at your feet for hours so you can get some human work done.

Benji has never met a creature he didn’t love. He loves adults, children, (no experience with children younger than five) other dogs, cats, and even chickens! He just wants to be everyone’s friend.
He would do best with an active family with children, or an active couple/person. Going on walks and hikes and sniffing all the new smells is one of his favorite activities.

Benji is mostly house and crate trained. The crate is not his favorite place, but he’s been working on understanding that his humans always come back when he has to stay there. The car makes him nervous but taking rides consistently has helped.

Benji is still a puppy and will chew things if they are left out “for him!” However, he is very eager to please and with a little training he will excel. He learned how to sit in two days and is very treat motivated.

Benji has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
