Peppermint is an adult (born 9.19.19) spayed female Akita. She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, on flea/heartworm prevention, heartworm negative, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained.

Peppermint came to us after her owner became terminally ill. A good friend of the owner put Peppermint in boarding while she found rescue for her (and Shiba brother who went to the DC Shiba rescue), got her vetting, and had her spayed. What a good friend indeed!

Peppermint is a sweet girl, but can be shy with new people. We suspect she will be able to live by herself or with the right male, canine friend.
