Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Lola! I'm still less than a year old and not quite done growing up yet. The most important thing to know about me, though, is that I'm one of the sweetest and most loving dogs you will ever meet!
I have lots of energy and I love playing with toys and going on hikes with my foster mom. I'm very smart and pick up on training super fast - I've already learned several tricks! I also have a very solid recall and come every time foster mom calls me! But even with all that energy, I settle quietly at home and love to lay by foster mom as she studies. In fact, I'm a big cuddle bug and will try and be next to you at all times!
I wasn’t fully socialized as a young puppy and as a result, I'm very nervous around strangers and take a while to warm up to new people, but once I do I'll be your best friend! I was anxious at home at first, but since I've been going to doggy care, I'm doing great! My human friends and I all agree that I'll need active dogs in my forever home.
My ideal forever home would be with an active family with other dogs, who will continue helping build my confidence and working through my separation anxiety. When I get really excited playing, I can nip a little and knock things over, so I would not be a good fit for a family with young kids. I've never lived with a cat before, so I'm not sure how I would do. What do you think - am I maybe the perfect new furry friend for your family?
