Update from my foster 8/27: Rue is about 7 months old, spayed, crate trained, and house trained. She's very friendly with dogs and people. She is super playful and loves to fetch and do zoomies but also enjoys long naps and snuggles with her people! She's also working on learning some basic commands. She is the absolute sweetest pup I've ever met!

Rue and her siblings found themselves at a rural Texas shelter when they were still only babies. The shelter is no place for puppies to grow up, so we brought them to Maryland for their chance at finding forever homes!

As of 3/31, Rue is 9 weeks old and around 10 lbs. At best guess, she is some kind of shepherd/retriever mix, but we can never say for sure! Rue is a sweet and playful puppy who is looking for a family with plenty of time, love, and patience to train her into the best girl she can be.
