Jeeves is Pad Paws’ newest rescue. A colony feeder noticed that a skinny cat wearing his kitty tuxedo was coming around. He would stay off in the distance waiting for the other cats to eat first, but became a more regular customer. Very gentlemanly of him. His feeder was soon able to approach him and pet him and realized that he was a “friendly”. He was either lost or dumped, as there are a lot of previously-housed cats randomly showing up all over.

He is estimated to be 3 years old and weighed in at 12 pounds. He is a looong guy and will undoubtedly put on weight. He loves to head butt and was asking for scratches in no time. Even though he is in his own room, the door is kept open so he can interact with the resident cats when he wants to. He gets along great with them because really, he just doesn’t care to fight. He is such a good guest – very clean, quiet, mellow. Really all he asks is that he has a window to look out. And a banana – his catnip banana is his favorite toy.

He is still very food-driven from being out on the streets and sometimes swats when he feels someone is going to take away his food. We feel once he gets over that he will let down his guard a bit and be a very affectionate cat.
