Welcome Sadie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 1-year-old Wheaton Terrier mix. She weighs about 30-pounds and is 1 year old. Her teeth are all new white adult teeth. They are clean and nice and not in need of a dental cleaning any time soon. She is a little shy and it takes a few minutes to warm up. She had warmed up to us in about 5 minutes and was totally comfortable with us taking her photo. She is not a big shedding dog and she gets along well with dogs bigger and smaller than herself. She was decent on a leash after some encouragement and had good eye contact with me. She will do her business outside on a good schedule. She lives in the house with a cat and is fine with the cat. She would be ok with a moderately active family and one that is willing to be patient and work with a shy dog. She won’t necessarily be the Starbucks dog but she would do fine in doggy daycare with other dogs. She is mostly shy of new people. Someone who doesn’t want a dog that sheds and that keeps herself pretty clean would be a good fit. She would do best with a home that has a fenced yard and she would be ok with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is beautiful and will make some lucky family a wonderful companion. She is getting her vaccines and will be spayed and ready for her forever home soon. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states
