June Bug is a sweet mama that charmed her entire neighborhood before coming to MeeowzResQ. A classic Turkish Van, June has fur as soft as cashmere with calico on her head and tail, and a little freckle on her chin like a feline Marilyn Monroe. June is very human friendly and enjoys being affectionate to the people in her life. She is one of those young cats that has already found her mature demeanor. She won’t crowd you, be wild or pester you at night like a kitten. June likes to be pet and talked to, then she will settle into a quiet spot nearby. During the day she loves to stretch out on the bed or sit in a window with a nice view. June is a good choice if you are looking for a calm single cat or if you have an older cat looking for a mature companion (she gets along well with our older Turkish Van). June sometimes gets grumpy with the kitten in our home and isn’t a good fit for a wild, playful partner. June is very relaxed with our dog and would do well in a home with a cat-friendly dog. June Bug has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccines and is microchipped. She is an indoor cat only and is being fostered by a family in San Juan Capistrano.
