My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Young Lemon is a sweet girl who is eager to please. She has been with her new foster mom and dog brother for almost a month now, and she is learning how to dog the right way!

Lemon can be a bit timid and anxious. She is alert towards new people in the house. With her dog brother next to her, to show her the way, Lemon has learned many sounds and sights are not so scary. She enjoys hard chew toy, and rough housing. Lemon has shown some interest in chewing human/household items, but only needs minimal guidance and redirection to stop.

As her foster mom had surgery, Lemon has not had much experience with leash walking. While decompression is the main goal in the first month of fostering, we predict Lemon would benefit more from positive conditioning. Lemon is best with mellow tolerant dogs, who could gently and properly correct her. With her young age, Lemon is an equal mix of energy ball and cuddle bug. Lemon craves human attention, and doesn't completely understand personal space, she has not yet realize who or what she steps on.
