Lawson arrives to Minnesota on October 8th and is looking for a home to call his own. He would love it if you would pick him up that day and make him yours. All adoptions have a 7 day trial period to ensure the best fit for dog and human(s).
Look at this sweet boy! This is Lawson and he is pleased to meet you. If you are looking for an adult dog who is as pretty as he is smart, look no further. Lawson was rescued from a very rural Alabama shelter as they were reaching capacity and not great conditions. He appreciates his upgrade with our rescue partners a great deal. He is middle aged, we are estimating about 5 years old and about 75lbs. He is great with other canine friends, so would make a good partner in crime but can also live alone. Typical of his breed he does like to play fetch, so if you have a tennis ball and an arm he will be your next best friend. He is potty trained and does well in his kennel run with our rescue partners. He does have heartworm disease and is beginning his treatment. He will still need the injections when he arrives to Minnesota (November time frame) and then 6 weeks of rest. This treatment is paid for by the rescue, you’d just need to bring him to his appointments.
Requirements: No special requirements
Adoption Fee: $500 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 8 months of age, deworming, microchip and current Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives.
