Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our pets are fostered and physically located in North Carolina until adopted. Once adopted we can deliver to your location or one of our other north eastern locations.
Pepper was born 8-6-21. She is a heeler mix. Predominately heeler. I suspect the other parent might have been an Australian shepherd due to her blue eye. She is absolutely beautiful. She weighs 30 pounds. She is a tad timid when she meets a new person but she warms up really quick! She likes women better than men!"She is very humble and affectionate. She's perfect on a leash. She leads quietly. She is clingy to her person as well.If you want a pocket dog, she will fit the bill. She needs a heeler savvy home. She is a working dog and will need an active owner who understands a cattle dog's mentality. She is not going to do well cooped up in a tiny apartment all day with no interaction or exercise. If you want a lazy dog DO NOT APPLY!
She is current on vaccines, testing, preventives, spayed and microchipped. She will receive a complete physical and a health certificate issued by our vet prior to going home. The adopter will get all her health records.
We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net.
