DOB: 4/5/2022

Sweet little Saffron is so wonderful. She is going to be a hard kitten to part with for this foster mom. She loves people, other cats and mellow dogs. She is the best play pal a brother could ever want but he is about to be adopted. Luckily, she has some other foster buddies to romp about with, but it’s time for her to find her furever home. She loves to wrestle. Afternoon naps are delicious. Mealtime is the best. But her favorite time is bedtime when she insists on some cuddles before she conks out to get her beauty sleep. She is a happy girl, easy to handle and easier to love. She’s darn near purr-fect. Please note that she must be adopted with another young cat or kitten if you do not currently have a young, playful cat at home.

We ONLY adopt animals to homes in the greater Los Angeles area.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$120 for a kitten or cat up to 2 years old, or $200 if you adopt a pair.
Cats 2 to 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%
We will waive the adoption fee for any cat over 10 years old.
Our dog adoption fee is $200.

While appointments to visit the Kitten Adoption Center are encouraged, walk-ins are always welcome! Make sure you complete the Cat Adoption Questionnaire here online prior to visiting us. To schedule an appointment please email adoptions@kittenrescue.org. If you do come by without an appointment, wait times to get in to the Adoption Center may vary. Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 1,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
