Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Do you ever just get that feeling when you look at someone or something and know you are home? Have you ever seen a dog before and knew he/she was yours? Our Dory is looking for someone who looks at her that way. You see, Dory came to us almost as a stray. Dory may have been fed well, but this gal was extremely shy. However, every day she makes progress, especially with her favorite volunteers. This shy gal is becoming playful, no longer afraid to talk when she wants something, or nudge her nose against the treat bag for more treats!
Dory is about 2 years old, and despite her full adorable figure, she gets around very well. She absolutely loves to get rubbed and petted. She much prefers to sniff around the yard and be by your side, chilling. She is the absolute sweetest, loves to be hugged by you, takes everything gently, walks pretty well on a leash, and would be great with a family (out of toddler age due to her sensitivity with loud noises at times) or someone newly retired but still moderately active. She has a nurturing demeanor. We haven’t tested her with dogs yet, but we are always willing to do a meet and greet! Dory is looking for her forever home. Is that with you?
