Persephone was part of a large group of dogs that were rescued from a hoarding situation. As a result, she had very little human contact and is still warming up to humans, but the key to her heart is through her stomach - she loves chicken and grows more confident every day! She lives in a foster home with multiple other dogs of all sizes and kids. Persephone loves to follow her foster mom around the house and keep an eye on things, hang out on the couch, and play with her new fur pals! Another dog companion in her furever home would help her get more comfortable and teach her the ropes of being a loved companion. She will definitely benefit from a confidence boost learning new tricks or walking, and is currently kennel trained and potty trained!
