Mrs Piggy was found by a good samaritan and brought to the shelter. She had a Akc microchip that was never registered. No owner came forward. To be honest im glad considering the condition she was in.
She was covered in fleas and flea dirt. Her skin and ears were broke out and infected. She had a huge tumor on her eye. Her nipples drug the ground and looked like she had recently had puppies. 😭
Deep inside of this hot mess of a dog was the most beautiful soul. She loves everyone. She never once griped or complained. She rolled with the punches through all the different vets and vet visits. Everyone in my vets office and the specialists office fell completely in love with her. ❤️
Unfortunately we couldn't save her eye. We tried our best but it ending up being a rare form of cancer and the eye had to be removed. Fortunately this cancer doesn't usually spread and we had her checked in case it did and she is clear.
Mrs Piggy is about 5.5 yrs old, utd on shots, spayed , microchipped, heartworm negative, on Advantage Multi and Joint supplements. She does need eye drops in her one good eye for the rest of her life. She has all the typical bulldog issues. Eyes, ears, skin etc but they are all under control with routine normal care. She is housebroken, crate trained and dog friendly. 🐾
We have spent well over 2800 on Mrs Piggy Pie. One surgery alone was 1782 dollars. She will come with a copy of all records and the biopsy on her eye. 500 adoption fee. Expierenced homes considered first. Located in Picayune Ms with For Bullies Sake Rescue
