Who has the longest legs and biggest smile in the world? It's me, Opelika! Hi there, my name's Opelika and I'm 1 year old, 45 lbs, and originally from Houston, Texas. I was found as a stray and was in a scary place called the shelter all by myself until Joyrides Rescue came to save me. I had the volunteer who picked me up from the shelter laughing as I literally bounced out of the shelter and into her car once I knew I was safe!
It's crazy to think I was living in a shelter when I love to be around people, other dogs, plushy beds and toys all the time! I've been missing out on so much! I'm great around other dogs and people and on a leash - I've been working on commands like "sit" and "paw" because I learned you get delicious treats when you obey! My foster mom thinks I'm very smart and could learn even more tricks.
I look like I'm a Retriever mix and boy do I have the longest legs in the world to show it! I'm great by myself at home if you have to go into work and also great to sleep on your legs while you're at home. Won't you come and meet me? I promise to give you big hugs with my long long legs and arms!
