Rey was rescued from a horrible hoarding situation with several of her siblings. Rey's previous owner reluctantly surrendered her knowing that it was the only way for Rey and her brothers and sisters to get the care they so desperately needed.
This beautiful furr-ball is a sassy little character. She is very vocal when she wants something...mostly her breakfast or dinner. She is also very loud when her sister Leia runs off for some alone time. Rey will wander around the house calling Leia at the top of her lungs...she does not like to be without her sister!
Rey is very shy at first, but once she warms up, she will pretty much do an acrobatic act to get some attention from her foster parents. She contorts her whole body and turns over on her belly frantically until she is petted or scratched. If you try to stop before she is ready, the acrobatics start again 😊 She is quite the ham!
Both Rey and Leia would do best in a quiet home without small children. Respectful dogs are ok, as they have become besties with their current foster dog.
Rey is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her foster family in West Sacramento.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
