Who’s ready to meet this new fresh-faced fella who is looking for his forever home? His name is Ridge, and we believe he is some type of hound mix. Ridge came to us after being found by a good Samaritan that was out on a bike ride. Ridge made quite a crowd of friends waiting for our Animal Control Officers to pick him up, and he was the sweetest with everyone he met. Ridge is a handsome boy who has a great balance of playfulness and energy. Ridge could put up with a weekend hike or a daily walk around the neighborhood. Equally, this boy would love a big couch to sprawl out beside you on at night! Ridge is a bit anxious about all the noise in the kennel, but once he’s outside, he’s pretty calm. This boy is highly treat motivated and loves to get his ears scratched! Ridge has shown positive interest in other dogs, particularly more laid-back dogs, through the fence.We are unsure about cats at this time, but we can always cat test during the meet and greet. Ridge is about 1.5 years old and would benefit from a fairly active person and/or family. Ridge is curious, friendly, and loves to play with the wiggle giggle ball! He makes the cutest head tilts playing with it. This handsome fella is now just looking for his forever home. Is that with you?
