My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet good dog Dubi

The clock is ticking on Good Dog named Dubi.

If you can give Dubi a good home please act fast. Or if you know someone who might can give him a good home please share this.

Dubi is a nice dog. He is RELIABLY HOUSETRAINED! And he has a good temperament. He is good natured with people even around his food bowl.

Dubi is playful with people and with dogs. Dubi is also very intelligent and learns fast.

Dubi came to Ahimsa with training. Someone put some time with this dog. He came "reliably" house trained. He already knew how to sit when asked. He knows how to walk on a leash.

Dubi has a good temperament. When Dubi is leashed walked past the other dogs at the rescue (including intact males) as he goes outdoors he never even notices the other males or barks at them like some dogs do.

Dubi knows how to play well with other dogs. He has an outdoor playmate at Ahimsa named Perdita.

Ahimsa can only adopt pets whose temperaments have been tested. Dubi has passed Ahimsa's temperament test. We could highly recommend Dubi in a home with another female dog approx his same size and age. He would make a most excellent canine friend, companion and playmate. They say every animal needs a companion of their own kind.

Dubi would also be good and content as an only dog. He is good when alone and enjoys playing with his toys that include hard nyla bones that hold up to heavy chewing that young dogs need to do.

Dubi loves people. He loves attention and he enjoys just hanging out with his favorite people. He is good with all the many Ahimsa volunteers (males and females) who provide for his daily care. He seems to never meet a stranger and friendly with all people.

Dubi behaves well when indoors; he keeps his bed and personal space tidy and neat. He is a neat and clean dog that is easy to care for.

Dubi was initially picked up by animal control after he had been running around town louse without an owner. He was picked up by the Muldrow animal control and taken to the shelter where he would be safe.

Because Dubi had a microchip his owners were found but they never came for Dubi. Dubi is now homeless and needs a good fast because the shelter stays full with incoming dogs who are in need.

Dubi is a nice dog. He has a good temperament. He is house trained. He is playful and very smart. He will sit when asked. He has been good among other dogs at the rescue. He behaves well when indoors; he keeps his bed and personal space tidy and neat. Dubi walks well on a leash and travels well in a vehicle.

Dubi’s breed does not have a good reputation so that makes it even more difficult for Dubi to get another chance. Dubi would make a good canine companion and friend. He has already had training and learned how to behave and be a good dog. If you need a good dog like Dubi please complete his on line adoption application soon. Time matters for shelter dogs so please act fast.
