My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Microchipped, DOB August 19, 2015

Tatertotte is a cuddly dream of a kitty. She is very friendly and affectionate, loves being petted and sitting next to her humans. She is a polite roommate who respects the possessions (including plants!) belonging to humans. She likes to spend most of her day snoozing in a comfortable spot.

Tater's patient and gentle temperament would also do well with children.

Tater was found as a stray, and some of her fur had to be shaved in order to remove mats. At 25lbs, it also appears that Tatertotte was terribly overfed in the past, possibly also being given food meant for humans. She will need to stay on her weight loss plan to restore her to a healthier weight. Her new family can help her by only providing food appropriate for cats. Happily, Tater is very content with her pre-measured healthy cat kibble. Her foster family says that they would love to follow her journey on Instagram if it gets documented by her adopter(s)!

Once Tater's at a more comfortable weight she should be able to take over for herself, but currently, she is too large to fully groom herself (though she tries her best), so she would appreciate extra brushing. She loves to be brushed and especially likes an occasional quick wipe with no-rinse cat shampoo.

Tater has so many adorable quirks! She tries to catch shadows (and laser pointers), and she also will sleep on her back with all four paws in the air.
