Emilio was confiscated by San Leandro Animal Control along with 13 other dogs from a hoarding situation in a mobile home. Some of the dogs were puppies and got adopted from the shelter. The shelter felt that some of the dogs were too traumatized and euthanized 3 of them (before they contacted us about the remaining dogs). Nobody’s Perfekt Dogs took in the remaining 5 dogs. It is believed that Emilio was the “patriarch” of the other dogs.
Emilio was more social than most of the dogs we pulled. He likes being held and gets along with will other dogs (who are nice to him). Here is what his foster mom writes:
“Emilio is a sweet dog that likes to sit on laps. He will not move unless displaced. He gets along with other dogs and would do well with a friend. He is fine with cats and chickens so far. He is working on house training. Gets excited to walk on leash, but get scared easily. Does not like loud noises. He is playful and runs around the house.”
Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13.
