My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brodi is a very good boy and a sweet young dog. He was rescued from a shelter in kentucky and is living with us here at Redwing Dog Refuge. Brodie is a super good dog who, although he ca be exuberant, has very good manners. He is very sweet and loving and good with people and other dogs. He is housetrained and good on a leash. He is smart and knows his basic commands and will come when called. He loves to chase balls that are thrown for him. He could potentially be an excellent Frisbee dog. He is physically very robust and would be a great dog to take along on adventures. He will make a wonderful dog for a family. If you are interested, please give us a call at 502-445-2749 and we can set up a visit. Thanks.

Additional adoption info

Our process is informal and personal. Most of it is taken care of with the initial phone call and interview. I will fill out your application during the interview. Although we are very careful regarding the placement and homes for our dogs, we make the process of adoption personal, simple and easy.

More about this rescue

RedWing Dog Rescue focuses on dogs in need who are about to be euthanized at shelters around the state of Kentucky. We pull the dogs from the shelter and place them at either a sanctuary or with a foster while we work to find great homes for them or place them with adoption-oriented rescues.
