My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Queen, a very lovely dog, showed up on the front porch of a neighbor. Although microchipped, the information was not updated. After looking for hours, her rescuer was able to find contact information and had learned Queen's tragic story. She had been DUMPED by the father of her owner. Her owner had far too much on her plate and her father assured her that he would take in Queen, her beloved dog, and care for her. The owner was horrified that her father had lied to her. She let us know that she cannot take Queen and her father does not want her. Rather than take her to the shelter, we have posted her available for adoption! Queen is 1 and a half years old and weighs approximately 40 pounds. She has a lovely, calm demeanor. She is sociable, gentle, playful, and affectionate. SHE IS ALSO LOOKING FOR A DEDICATED FOSTER! For additional information, call Lydia at 714- 357-8405. If this listing is still posted, we are still accepting applications. We do not do out-of-state adoptions. We do not hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt.

If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog, please visit our website to complete an adoption application. It is in the ADOPTION folder at the top of our home page. Just fill in the blanks and SEND.
We commonly receive multiple applications for a single dog. Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog on Saturday at Petsmart in Yorba Linda between noon and 3 pm OR on a mutually agreeable day, time and place during the week.

All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.
