My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Pogo and I am a handsome powderpuff boy. I am just
3 years old and had a very happy life until my family went away on
vacation. They hired a pet sitter to come stay with me and he
traumatized me by doing things like throwing a coat over me and
dragging me around. When my family came home, they found out
that I was very afraid of everything because of it. I am very scared
of men now and will snap at them, so I want to go to a home with
just a nice lady or two to love me. I might be OK with a man who is
not intimidating, too, but I prefer women. I am very affectionate
with my foster mom, and run as fast I can to see her when I hear
her come home at night. I am just so happy to see her! I am a
true velcro dog-I just want to be held and cuddled. I need
someone who is going to understand that I have fears that will
take time to work through. I would be OK with another dog of my
own size, but I would be happy to be an only dog, too. I walk very
nicely on leash and will cry to go out in the morning. I just want
someone to love me and give me back the security I used to have.
