Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Halo is a beautiful, healthy, 6 year old, 40 pound Shiba Inu with tan/blonde fur. He's very friendly with new people, has undergone basic behavioral training, is very playful, and is an excellent watch dog that is protective of his owners. We have loved having him for these past 6 years, but we now have a toddler and another baby on the way. Although Halo was great as a companion for an experienced adult owner, he is simply not a good pet for young children. He can be possessive of toys (his toys and children's toys) and his play is too aggressive. He has not bitten our child, but despite his best intentions his play involves aggressive running (the well known Shiba 500) as well as pawing, and pushing/pulling. These actions have resulted in too many scratches and close calls for our toddler even with our constant supervision. We are confident that Halo will make a great companion for an experienced owner without young children, and we hope to find a suitable new home for him.
