Tandoori is one of the gentlest kittens our foster has ever met! He is a playful, expressive cat with his foster family, and takes his time to warm up to strangers and visitors. This handsome guy is not afraid of strangers; he just prefers to hang out and observe newcomers before choosing to interact with them. When it comes to his family, though, he is nothing but warmth and joy. He loves to hang in the same room, overseeing family activity and breaking up mundane tasks with frequent requests for pets and belly rubs. He is also an experienced racer and home escort, memorizing the most traveled routes in the home, and happily bounding past travelers to ensure a safe journey through the hallways. During these treks through the house, Tandoori loves to stop his humans by flopping onto the floor, showing his belly, and asking to be pet. He would love to find a family that is light on their feet, where he can enjoy his signature brand of affection. Tandoori is a chatty boy who is not afraid to ask for attention, using long, drawn-out meows, followed by slow, deliberate biscuit making on his favorite bed, looking for anyone willing to spend some time on the floor with him and pet him. While he enjoys attention and affection, he is not an in-your-pocket kind of cat. He prefers to ask for affection on his terms and will sometimes climb into his humans’ laps for snuggles.
