Additional adoption info

Please note that Retrievers and Friends is located in Menifee, California.
We visit every home prior to an adoption.
We only adopt to homes that are within 1 hour driving distance from Menifee.
We do not adopt out of state.
We do not adopt the young active retrievers to homes without a securely fenced yard for safe off leash play.
We do not adopt to homes with children under 6 yrs of age. This is for the safety of the dog as well as the child.
We do not adopt small dogs or puppies to homes with pools that are not securely fenced separate from the yard.

Thank you for respecting our adoption process and understand it has been put in place after many years of experience doing adoptions. This is what works best for us in placing our dogs in approved homes.

Please visit our website at www.retrieversandfriends.com or use the link listed above for more details about our adoption process.

Go meet their pets

Those interested in adopting may complete an adoption application on our web site at www.retrieversandfriends.com. After a home visit is completed and the application approved, an appointment may be made with the foster family to see the dogs that might be a good match for your family.
