Rookie ain't no rookie when it comes to partying like its 1999, he LOVES to have fun and he is quite the playah, his nickname around the joint is Party Boy! He is big, bold, boisterous and beautiful. Full of energy and just a little sass, Rookie is oozing talent in addition to his good looks. He has toy drive up the wazoo, is highly intelligent, athletic and engaging.

Funny to think that he's not working dog material because he didn't like running around our rubble pile, but that's the truth. He would LOVE running around your yard, though! And he would probably enjoy running around and wrestling with another dog friend too. He's a wee bit untamed, but in a good way, a way that could easily be harnessed for an active lifestyle or an amazing sport partner.

He is fit and strong, so needs a match in this department. He would enjoy any and all activities, especially if they are dynamic: running, toy play, dog sports. He can keep occupied by throwing a toy around by himself or playing keep away. He can be excitable and physically indiscrete (as in he might not respect a small child's physical space...)

Sweet, silly and funny are a few other descriptors used besides Party Boy. Maybe it's the Boxer (aka the Clown of Dogs) side in him that brings out the funny while the Retriever side brings out the sweet?. He enjoys his people as much as he enjoys his games.
