My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rhoden was one of our most rewarding rescues last year. This amazing boy gives us so much joy every day! Rhoden was found outside by a Good Samaritan who saw he was having trouble walking. Our volunteer jumped into action to find him in a rainstorm and get him to safety. We soon learned that Rhoden has CH (cerebellar hypoplasia, also known as wobbly cat syndrome) which causes him to be unsteady on his feet at times where he will sway and occasionally fall over on his side. Rhoden's condition doesn't cause him any pain and it will never get better or worse. The only special needs CH causes is some limited mobility but Rhoden sure likes to run and chase toys and other kitties. He should be in a home without stairs and plenty of rugs or carpet for traction. He adores pets and attention and he is a good listener that will come running when you call him. We've learned that Rhoden will likely do best in a home without other cats as he can be a bit territorial and stressed by other kitties. We would love to talk to potential adopters more about Rhoden's personality and needs to ensure that he will be a good fit for your family.
