Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dakota is a 2 year old German Shepard mix. Her birthday is 6.24.2020. She came to us from a rescue. She is a sweet dog ready to please. She is treat motivated. Trained to ring the bells when she needs to go out to potty. Crate trained, does enjoy sleeping on a chair. She has done well with agility courses. Is observant. She’s been around children ages 8 and 10 regularly. The cat we had, didn’t get along with her. Is good with other dogs. Likes her bones to chew. Been on a 4 hour car ride.
She’s had beginners and intermediate training. Knows the commands: stay, leave it, back up, lay down, sit, shake. Returns to you with a whistle, never runs too far when going for a walk out in the country unleashed.
She has been house trained and she has been out on the country on 50 acres. She doesn’t run or chase deer. She would do great in a country setting, or with a large yard.
Where we live is by a train yard and a semi truck driver. She’s not a fan of those constant loud noises.
