Rescued Just in Time!

The good Samaritan who rescued Uncle Vinnie really did save his life. This sweet little boy was literally starving and freezing. He’s so desperately thin that one more night in the cold might have been his last.

Even after being rescued, it took awhile for Uncle Vinnie to believe that his long, lonely ordeal really was over. After some encouragement, he finally snuggled up in my lap and went to sleep, looking up at me every few minutes to make sure he wasn’t dreaming.

What he needs now is a forever-lap where he knows he’ll always be safe and loved.

About our sweet little boy:
1. Six-year-old mixed breed (Boston terrier?)
2. Painfully thin (17 pounds) - needs lots of TLC and fattening up!
3. Neutered
4. Up to date on his shots
5. In excellent health despite his weight
6. Sweet, gentle, loving, and playful
7. Great with other dogs (no cats, please!)
8. Would likely be very sweet with kids
9. 100% house-trained!
10. Shy at first, but warms up quickly
11. Definitely wants to be a lap dog!
12. Secret desire: joining the circus! Vinnie easily leaps straight up in the air and lands squarely in the nearest lap!
13. Favorite thing in the world: Snuggling under the covers in bed with his special person!
