Ezzy is 6 years old, and I have had her since she was a kitten. I'm expecting our first child in January, and I don't trust her around children, so I am trying to find her a new home. I love her very much, but she's not the nicest cat. She hisses at my husband regularly (although she usually likes him) and dislikes guests. She can't be in a home with other pets as she gets very aggressive towards them. She can also display aggressive behavior towards people, such as blocking the stairway and hissing, or swatting at you if you walk by or if you pet her the wrong way. She gets along best with me, and it will likely take a long time for her to develop a bond with another person. We've tried anti-anxiety medication to see if that would help her behavior, but getting her to take the meds was more anxiety-producing for everyone, and we didn't see a difference. She isn't very playful, but can be affectionate sometimes. She needs someone with a lot of patience and thick skin!
