Hey there, folks! I'm Roxie, a spunky American Pit Bull mix with a dash of Boxer in my genes. My journey started when I was adopted from the West Memphis Animal Shelter on January 10, 2023. I became the loyal companion to a wonderful single lady who needed some extra love in her life. She treated me like royalty until some tough times hit, and she had to make the heartbreaking decision to bring me back to the shelter. This isn't my first rodeo with homelessness; I found myself in the shelter once before back in September 2022 during the chaos of the COVID outbreak.

Now, I'm nearly three years old, spayed, microchipped, and happily heartworm negative. Sure, I'm overdue on my vaccines, but the shelter staff are on it, and I'll be caught up in no time. My previous home was an apartment, and let me tell you, I was the model tenant-no unnecessary barking from me, except for when that pesky door knob jingles.
