Meet Cane! Cane is the sweetest boy that came to us as a stray. He is super curious and loves to explore his environment. He especially loves anything outdoors! Cane is pretty independent and likes to do his own thing. He walks well on a leash and would make a great hiking companion! Cane does not like the crate and would do best in a home where he can roam. He seems to not mind other dogs, but he also doesn't really spend a lot of time interacting with them. He knows to potty outside but will need a little help with his house training as he adjusts to his new environment. He is looking for someone in a calm household with to be his companion who is willing to help him gain confidence and has the patience to teach him how to be his very best. Cane is heartworm positive and currently undergoing treatment. He is approx. 4 years old and located at our rescue facility in Justin, Texas.
Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete our Pre-application: https://form.jotform.us/asr628/ShortAdoptionInquiry
