Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poor Leo (formerly known as the Bachelor), he started life being abandoned as a kitten and living his first 2-3 years in a vacant house with his brother. When someone decided to move into the house, Leo and his brother came to the shelter. He and his brother were adopted but promptly returned as the couple really were not 'cat people'. Leo's brother found another home and is happy. Leo was finally adopted again in the Spring of 2010. He was afraid of the dog at his new home and after almost a year, the owner decided to return him to the shelter, in February, 2011. Therefore, this time, It would be best if Leo could find a home where there are no dogs. Note: Since Leo is over the age of three, his adoption fee is only $50 MARCH 2011 UPDATE: Leo seems to be well adjusted to shelter life. When he is adopted he will need to be given lots of attention in order to readjust to life in a home, since he really is a shy cat. October 2011 update: Leo/Bachie must find a home where he can be an only pet. He received a nasty bite wound at the shelter from a bully and now he is afraid of all cats, in addition to being afraid of dogs. At the shelter he prefers his cage, which is now called his Penthouse apartment, to roaming free in the shelter. UPDATE: Alas, poor Leo was adopted in 2012, and returned in 2014 due to allergies. Leo does not deserve this bad luck. He is a nice cat. Will he EVER get a permanent home????? Birthdate: 9/12/2006May 11, 2024, 2:28 pm
