Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ben is ready for his forever home! Ben is a very sweet, beginner safe gelding who is in his late 20’s. He was very underweight when he came to us and after treatment for sand accumulation and gastric ulcers, he is now doing much better. He’s still not at his healthy weight and will need to continue his GI supplement and high quality forages to help him continue to gain. He gets along great with other horses and would be perfect as a companion. We’ve seen photos of him ridden but haven’t ridden ourselves since he’s just now getting towards a healthy weight. We except him to be suitable for light riding once he gains a little more weight. Or he can just be a great companion to groom and spend time with!
Who can give Ben a forever home? Fill out an adoption application at crossroadsanimalrescue.org. We are asking for either a monetary donation for Ben or donation of 25 bales of square bales of alfalfa hay to help with feeding our other horses this winter.
