My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My 92 year old mother passed away 10 days ago and she had a cat, named Sunday, whom she dearly loved. Unfortunately, no one in our family can take her in and we are looking for a home for her. She is an 8 year old, spayed, black and while long haired cat (has not been declawed). She is up to date on all her vaccinations and is healthy. She did have to have a kidney removed in 2020 but has had no problems since then. She was a great companion for Mom and very low maintenance. She does not like to be picked up and held. When she gets used to you, she may come and sit on your lap. She sat on Moms lap all the time. She does enjoy being pet until she doesn’t, but I think that tends to be a cat's attitude sometimes. She is not used to being around other animals so a home where she is the only animal would be best. She is ok with children as long as they don’t chase or be aggressive with her.We have contacted everyone we know and a few shelters and have yet to find anyone who will take her.
