Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dakota! He is a German Shepherd mix born 12/16/21. Here is a little bit about him: he knows how to sit, the word no and leave it. Like most pups his age he is prone to chewing but given a good alternative to a shoe, he does just fine! Dakota gets along well with other dogs, cats and with kids – he is a little rambunctious though so we don’t recommend a home with kids under 5. Dakota is not crate trained as his foster family allows him on the bed and he’s pleased as punch with that. He is potty trained. According to his foster family, Dakota is extremely friendly and well behaved (rumor has it his foster dad thinks he’s the best puppy ever!) There are older dogs in his foster home who he can bug a bit though with his puppy energy and they are all fed separately.
Dakota would do best in an active home and would love another canine companion or several (😂) to play with-close in age and size as he’s a big pup. Breed experience is a bonus. Dakota will require a home with a fully fenced yard-5-6 feet for the fence. He is NOT suited for apartment life.
