Is she a Whelpie...is she a Kippet?? A shepard mix? Well, honestly we do not know if Celine is truly a mix of Whippet and Australian Kelpie, but she sure does look like it. Celine has the leggy, petite frame of a Whippet, she glides like the wind and has an oh so elegant prance. She also seems to have some of the looks of the Kelpie, as well as a bot of the prey drive. Today she caught a Monarch butterfly...so sad! The butterfly, the last of the season came fluttering by and off Celine went, and yes she caught him. He was not eaten, just stepped on. I put him on a bush and will tell myself he was just fine!! Celine does seem to have the Kelpie instincts and drive, she is very agile and alert and has been having a great time rounding up all the blowing leaves! Other than that, Celine has a gentle spirit. She is all wiggles, and I mean head to toe when she looks at one of her foster family, or one of her dog pals. More than wiggles, it is almost a yoga move-lol! Celine is all love and silly, and yet a graceful beautiful girl. She is loving her zoomies in the yard and is happy to play all day(with a nap break!). Celine is awfully thin, as a leggy, taller girl, she is only 25 pounds so is working on putting on weight.
Celine came all the way from Alabama to find her forever family. As we said, we are not sure of the breed(s), but it is not an uncommon mix. She is 8 months old and ready for an active family. Celine has terrific manners,is very agile, alert and truly a unique beauty. She is looking for an equally active family. Please email Kristine at joysparrows@gmail.com. Her adoption fee is $375.
