My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hartford County, CT:
🚨Spotlight on Rex! 🚨Introducing our newest foster, REX! Rex is an adorable friendly black pocket pittie mix. At just 40 lbs, he’s the perfect sized dog. Rex has done great in the crate in the car, does well being crated at home, is neutered and up to date on vaccines.
Rex was surrendered to the shelter through no fault of his own. He did live with another female dog in his previous home.
Rex is estimated to be about 8 years young, but has the energy of a 4 year old dog. Rex takes treats very gently. He’s got great energy to go on walks, play fetch, but is also docile and relaxed in the house. He’s the kind of guy who will sit at your feet while you watch TV on a rainy day.
Rex loves the kong when it’s full of peanut butter, his new toy from bully box that’s the shape of the sun, and playing fetch! He shares his toy nicely for fetch and will sit with you playing with toys if it’s not a good day for a walk.
Make no mistake, a perfect day for Rex would be a long walk, a few hours playing fetch, and ending the day on the couch, gnawing on a toy while you unwind.
Rex isn’t the biggest kisser. He gives some, but it is few and far between, a true treat when it happens! As far as noises, the loudest he makes is when he snores and it is absolutely hysterical to watch him wake himself up from snoozing. All it means was a successful day for Rex! He’s a curious boy, friendly and easy going. He is a little slow to warm up, but will become your bestie in a matter of a day or two.
