Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Shelby, the old soul💕
Shelby came to us as a part of a neglect situation with her brother, where we teamed up with another rescue to come to their aid. She is now under the care of DGDR and thriving with her foster mom! She is around 5 years old and her foster mom says she is the most perfect girl💕
This established girl is described as being gentle and kind. She is quiet, and easy to please. She wants to snuggle and insists on having a spot on the couch or next to the fire. She loves her stuffed hippo, is treat-driven (especially ham and cheese!) and getting love and affection. She is a total lady when meeting other dogs, that’s where her maturity really shines!🐶
Shelby is fully crate trained and knows how to sit and shake & walks like a queen on a leash! Her foster mom says a perfect day for her would start with her breakfast being sprinkled with cheese, and then she would head to the couch for some morning snuggles. She might like to go for a walk around the block, but please don’t ask her to run, that’s not her “thing” 😉 After her walk, she’d like to head back to the couch for a Netflix Marathon and more treats!🐾
If you’re looking for an established lady to be your best friend, Shelby is ready for you!
