My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lina is an absolute sweetheart- she does everything with gusto, and that includes loving her family. My best description for her is velcro dog. Lina is the epitome of kissy lap dog. She’s in heaven on your lap.

Lina ideally needs a home with a fenced yard to enjoy her daily zoomies. She loves walks, she’s good on a leash and takes in everything on her sniffari’s through the nature trails in my neighborhood. She would love an active family to prance around with.

She would also love dog sibling(s), especially playful ones to romp around with. She is good with kids, probably best with older kids due to her energy level (her zooms are fast). She is highly treat motivated and knows some basic commands. She is housebroken. She is good in a kennel, if needed. We have been working with her with obedience training and she would need some reinforcement of that. She’s still learning the ropes of good doggy manners with jumping up to greet people.

Lina is a dog who was never really loved and craves every bit of it. She came into the rescue severely emaciated as a stray. She loves and trusts quickly and intensely. She’s somewhere between 2-5 years, 43 lbs, and spayed. She is thriving and looking for a family who will cherish her adorable self furever ❤️.
SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Southern Alabama, and Southeastern Mississippi. Out of state adopters would need to come to Florida to complete the adoption. We do not allow our dogs to be flown Cargo on Airlines.
