Meet Poppy, she is a 5 year old out mix and the sweetest girl ever. We adopted her 4 years ago and she has been an absolute joy.

In February of 2022, we took in a little boy foster child who has unfortunately not gotten along well with Poppy. We have tried everything including in home therapy but he still continues to hit, pinch and kick Poppy. She recently began nipping during these instances and while she hasn’t made contact, a bit would mean we would lose the child AND Poppy. This is why we have made the difficult decision to rehome.

Poppy is silly, loving and as sweet as they come. She loves all dogs, cats and people. We never feel uncomfortable with her around anyone but with our child’s aggressive actions, we just can’t trust animals around him.
