Meet Pete! Pete is a 9-month old Basset Hound/Beagle mix who weighs about 33 pounds. He's a friendly, happy, playful guy and a typical puppy. He's learning how to walk well on a leash and has almost mastered house training. Pete really loves to play with other dogs and would do well with a canine sibling who is equally as playful because, as a puppy, Pete doesn't always take the hint if his playmate wants to chill. He hasn't been around children yet but his foster family believes he'll do just fine with kids. Pete is a gentleman, and though he's still in the puppy "chew" phase, he's easily redirected and listens well. In addition, a home with a lot of activity and exercise will be a good fit. Pete loves to be around his people and his foster family feel he'll be easily trained and will be a great dog!
His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
