Ollie is a happy, friendly and playful 6.5-month-old pup. This boy has never met a stranger, loves to play with other dogs and LOVES going on adventures in the car.
Ollie has made lots of new friends in his foster home and loves to play and wrestle with them. He loves toys, chew bones and especially training treats. He’s a very smart little fella and is picking up on clicker training very quickly. He’s learned sit, down and crate and is very food motivated and happy to learn new things. After is good play session, Ollie is happy to settle down and take a nice long puppy nap or chew on a bone.
Ollie’s perfect home will have a fenced yard, no apartments, or electric fences. It will also have a friendly canine companion for him to romp and play with and burn off some of that puppy energy. A dog close to his size and energy level will be best as older and/or smaller dogs may not appreciate his exuberance! He will also require a family that is home often as it’s hard on a young pup to be crated for long hours.
Because he is so smart and active, he will require a family committed to daily exercise and training. We think he’d excel as a running partner, or in agility, fast CAT or other dog sport! Ollie is good with children but would do best with a child 10 or older as he’s still very much a puppy and learning not to jump or be mouthy.
Ollie is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and is microchipped.
Approved adopters, interested in Ollie, will be required to travel to meet him in his foster home.
