My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet, goofy Millie has recently come back to the rescue due to no fault of her own really. Sometimes no matter how hard a family tries the relationship just doesn't work out and it becomes in everyone's best interest to find a new family for the pup.

Millie is back with her foster mom and hasn't let the recent set back diminish her spirits. She's just as goofy & lovable as she was when first with the rescue. She's enjoying playing with her canine foster brother, chewing on all the toys & getting lots of love & cuddles.

We don't believe it's a necessity for Millie to have another pup in the home to hang with but she'll be open to a roommate. As much as she loves people big & small, having all the energy from the kiddo's might just be too much. A home without kids is probably going to be the best situation for Millie to thrive in. She enjoys a good car ride & will benefit from going on adventures with her people!

She's had some basic obedience classes and is continuing to work on her lessons in foster. She makes sure to let you know when she needs to go out & chills in her crate during the day while her foster mom is out of the house.

A yard with with a good fence would be great for her to play in, but please no kitties or other small animals in the home as Millie wants to be more then just "friends" with them.

Millie is in foster care in CT and waiting to find their forever home!! If you are interested in adopting her, please email your adoption coordinator to set up a meet. You can also apply online on our website, but you must be pre-approved before setting up an appointment to adopt.

The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back.

After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
