IDGSR WELCOMES NORDICA INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!
*
Nordica is SUCH a beautiful, sweet lady. She's had a tough life prior to coming to the safety of her foster. She was found wondering the streets of Memphis by a good citizen. She was missing her right rear leg (so she's a tripod but gets around just fine!) and her right ear was damaged. But you'd never know she's had such a tough life by meeting her. She is such a sweet doll! She's very well adjusted, calm, gentle with kids, and gets along with other dogs. What more can you ask for! Some lucky adopter will be VERY happy to get this wonderful girl.
Nordica was pregnant when the good citizen found her and ended up having 6 of the cutest puppies EVAH!! Because of this, the lucky adopter will need to wait until late December or early January to get her. She's a really good momma and needs to completely wean her babies and then get spayed.
Like all German Shepards, Nordica will need additional training. Training is a great way to develop a deep bond with your new dogs, improve their manners and establish a trusting, respectful relationship with you. And even a wonderful tripod like Nordica can have fun training! German Shepard Dogs are active, extremely intelligent and loyal. Training will ensure these traits are directed into positive behaviors.
