Shiloh is an intelligent and obedient 2 year old. She's food motivated and easy to train. With little efforts, she knows sit, stay, heel, shake, place and go home (to her crate). In fact, she knows when it's bedtime and puts herself to bed in her crate every evening.
Shiloh enjoys exploring. She has the perfect balance of play and rest. During play she can be high energy and focused on her toys but will relax when her toy is no longer visible. Her energy is low in the home, where she is happy to be put on place or rest on the couch.
She's great with humans and specifically loves babies but should be introduced properly. Shiloh is still working on gaining trust of other dogs and animals. Therefore, she should be the only animal in the home or with an experienced person who is comfortable keeping Shiloh and their animals separated.
Shiloh loves walks. On occasion she is reactive to other dogs, but obedient when given the ‘leave it' command. The perfect home for Shiloh is where she can be the only dog, go on walks, play with toys, and explore her backyard.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
